Your AI team has a face now

When you hire someone, you don't get a config file — you get a person. A name, a face, a role, a sense of who they are. We think hiring an AI team should feel the same way, so we built FirstHQ's team identity system: every teammate you hire gets a name, an avatar, and a card.

Names that fit the role

Defaults should feel right, not random. So a teammate's name nods to their job — your Reporting Analyst might be Remy Adler, your Meeting Notes Specialist Milo Moss, your Deal Desk Coordinator Dana Dunn. Familiar without being generic, and never a real person you'd confuse them with. Don't like one? Rename it. The generator just gives you a great starting point.

Avatars in our own style

We didn't want stock illustrations or uncanny fake headshots. Each teammate is drawn in a consistent FirstHQ style — a real character you'd recognize at a glance. But look closer and it's unmistakably an AI teammate, not a person: the "skin" is in our brand colors, and the eyes are a soft synthetic visor, not human eyes. A role badge sits on every avatar so you can read the team at a glance.

That honesty matters to us. A teammate should feel personable and memorable — never like it's pretending to be a human on your team.

A team you can share

At the end of building a team, you don't land on a settings screen — you meet your team. Each teammate gets a clean card: name, role, what they own, how much they can do on their own, and who they work with. It's the kind of thing you'll want to screenshot and show someone. That's the point.
